First originating in Queensland, Australia on the Sunshine Coast around twin brothers Toma (vocals, guitars) and Andy Banjanin (drums) – after a move across the globe, the outfit is now rounded out by Eric Weber (guitars), Kane Reynolds (keys), and Blake Misipeka (bass), and they’ve have been making waves ever since.
Tempesst have had an extremely exciting 18 months. Back-to-back showcases (The Great Escape, NME Awards, Live At Leeds), festivals (Bushstock, Southsea Fest, Hackney Wonderland) and impressive live stints alongside Mystery Jets, The Veils, The Temper Trap, Albert Hammond Jr, JET and GUM (Jay Watson, Tame Impala) have propelled them firmly into the spotlight.
