As the daughter of Central Australian folk music royalty, it is little wonder Sally Balfour has found her way to the stage as a singer-songwriter. While the isolation and extremes of the NT loom large in her songwriting, Sally’s music connects on an individual level. Early 2020 saw Sally Balfour release her debut single ‘Calling Me Home’ which has had air play on triple j, ABC national radio as well as community radio stations across Australia. She followed this success releasing two further singles during the Covid 19 pandemic. 2021 will see Sally release her debut children’s album Clara Crocodile, a side project involving a variety of Alice Springs musicians such as Warren H Williams, Xavia and Dave Crowe.
