Glasgow-born singer Fiona Ross has secured her reputation as a highly gifted interpreter of Scots song. In 2019 she was shortlisted for Scots Singer of the Year in the prestigious Scots Trad Music Awards. Fiona was mentored by esteemed tradition bearer Andrew Hunter, who in turn has generously shared with her all that he learned from the great Traveller ballad singer Jeannie Robertson and her family in Aberdeen during the 1960s. Fiona brings knowledge, passion & commitment to her performance. Her grounded, evocative singing style and extensive repertoire showcase the richness, depth and diversity of the Scots song tradition.
Guitarist, producer, studio engineer, composer and ARIA Award winner, Shane O’Mara is one of Australia’s most versatile musicians. A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, where he studied classical guitar and composition, he has been a professional musician for over 25 years, with extensive recording and touring experience with many diverse artists including Paul Kelly, Chris Wilson, Rebecca Barnard and Rob Snarski.
