His cultural heritage has informed not just his songwriting but his take on life and how to live as a conscientious human, leaving a legacy and being mindful of his place in the world.
Embracing an idiosyncratic lifestyle, David has chosen to follow the path of a ‘Songman’ akin to his Indigenous Grandfather. His contemporary nomadic lifestyle gives him the power to touch people with his music and story on a personal level. David’s unique style blurs traditional musical genres and has seen him touring extensively performing at festivals including Blue Mountains Music Festival, Bendigo Blues and Roots, Caloundra Music Festival, St Kilda Fest, Nimbin Roots and National Folk Festival. Closer to home, David has appeared at Garma Festival performed at The National Indigenous Music Awards.
